What are templates?
Templates are ready-made HTML forms and landing pages. Your FormsToDB API key is automatically injected when you use one — zero manual setup.
Types of templates
- Forms — standalone HTML form components (contact, booking, survey, newsletter…)
- Landing pages — complete pages with header, features, form and footer
Free vs Premium
- Free templates — available to all accounts, use and download unlimited times
- Premium templates ($7–$15) — one-time purchase, yours forever across all sites
Using a template
- Go to Dashboard → Templates
- Browse and click Preview to see the full rendered template
- Click Use — enter a name for the new form
- A form is created in your account and the HTML is shown with your key pre-filled
- Copy the HTML and paste it into your website
Downloading a template
Click Download on any template you own (free or purchased). You receive a .html file with your API key already injected — ready to deploy.
Purchasing a premium template
- Find a premium template (shown with a price badge)
- Click the price button or preview → Buy
- Complete payment via Stripe or PayPal
- The template is immediately available for use and download
Premium template purchases are one-time. Once bought, you can use and download the template unlimited times across any number of websites.
Customising templates
All templates are plain HTML/CSS. After downloading, open the file in any text editor and modify colors, fonts, copy and layout freely. The _key field is pre-filled — don't remove it.
