Notifications

Real-time alerts for every new lead

Real-time browser notifications

FormsToDB polls for new leads every 15 seconds. When a new lead arrives, you'll see a toast notification in the bottom-right corner of your screen and the bell icon badge updates.

Email notifications per form

To get email alerts for a specific form:

  1. Go to Dashboard → Forms
  2. Find your form and toggle Email notify on
  3. You'll receive an email to your account address for every new submission
Email notifications require the admin to configure SMTP in Admin → Email Settings.

Zapier notifications

For instant notifications in Slack, Teams, or any other channel:

  1. Go to Dashboard → Integrations
  2. Click Connect Zapier
  3. Create a Zap with Webhooks by Zapier → Catch Hook as trigger
  4. Add your notification action (Slack message, Teams alert, SMS, etc.)

Zapier Call button

The Call button on leads triggers a different webhook — configured separately in Settings → Zapier. This is specifically for call integrations (Twilio, JustCall, Aircall) and sends your phone number + the lead's phone number so your call service can connect both.

Two different Zapier integrations: Settings → Zapier = Call button only. Integrations → Zapier = Lead notifications. They are independent.

Notification bell

The bell icon in the top-right of your dashboard shows unread lead count. Click to see recent leads. Click Mark all read to clear the count. Individual notifications can be dismissed.
