1. Free Plan and Trial
FormsToDB offers a free plan with no payment required. We encourage you to use the free plan to evaluate the Service before subscribing to a paid plan — no refund request is necessary if you simply downgrade back to free.
2. 14-Day Money-Back Window
If you are not satisfied with your first paid subscription, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial payment, no questions asked. This applies once per account, to your first subscription payment only.
To request a refund within this window, email billing@formstodb.com with your account email and the date of payment. Refunds are processed manually by our team and typically completed within 5–10 business days, returned to your original payment method via Stripe or PayPal.
3. Renewals and Recurring Charges
Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period (monthly or annually) unless cancelled beforehand. Renewal charges are not eligible for the 14-day window described above — that window applies only to your first payment on a plan.
If you forgot to cancel before a renewal and contact us promptly (within 7 days of the renewal charge), we will review the request individually and may issue a refund or credit at our discretion, particularly if the account had no usage during that billing period.
4. Cancelling Your Subscription
You can cancel anytime from Dashboard → Billing. Cancelling stops future renewals — you keep access to your paid plan's features until the end of the current billing period you already paid for. We do not provide partial refunds for unused time within an active billing period, except where required by applicable law.
5. Plan Upgrades and Downgrades
If you upgrade to a higher plan mid-cycle, the new price applies going forward; we do not charge a separate prorated amount for the days remaining, and Stripe/PayPal handles the next invoice based on your new plan. If you downgrade, the change takes effect at the next renewal — you keep your current plan's features until then. Plan changes themselves are not refund events.
6. Add-ons and One-Time Purchases
Premium templates and one-time add-on purchases (such as the Form Builder add-on) are generally non-refundable once delivered or activated on your account, since they grant immediate, permanent access. If an add-on is defective or fails to work as described, contact support and we will investigate and remedy the issue, including a refund if appropriate.
7. Service Issues and Outages
If FormsToDB experiences a significant outage or failure attributable to us that materially affects your use of the Service for an extended period, contact billing@formstodb.com — we will review the case and may issue a partial credit or refund proportional to the affected period, at our discretion.
8. Chargebacks
Please contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank or card provider — we resolve the vast majority of billing concerns directly and faster than a chargeback process. Accounts with disputed chargebacks may be suspended while the dispute is investigated, and repeated unwarranted chargebacks may result in permanent account termination.
9. How Refunds Are Issued
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method (card via Stripe, or PayPal balance/linked method) within 5–10 business days of approval. We cannot issue refunds to a different payment method or via bank transfer.
10. Contact
For any billing or refund question, email billing@formstodb.com. Include your account email and, if applicable, the relevant invoice or transaction date — this helps us respond faster.
