FormsToDB vs. JotForm

JotForm is a solid all-in-one form builder. Where it differs from FormsToDB is what you get once submissions start arriving — pipeline tracking, spam filtering, and how the free tier is actually structured.

Questions

Before you get started

If your form was originally built in JotForm's own builder, yes, you'd recreate the fields as plain HTML (or export the field list as a reference). If you already have an HTML form and were only using JotForm as the backend, you just change the action URL.
For a business running a contact form, a quote request form, and a newsletter signup, that's already 3 of the 5 — leaving little room to add more without upgrading. FormsToDB's free plan doesn't cap the number of forms.
JotForm's tables feature lets you view and filter submissions, but it doesn't offer a status-based pipeline (New → Contacted → Won) the way FormsToDB's dashboard does out of the box.
